In my first year in my second agency in the Philippines, I was asked to join a pitch for a satellite phone targeting seafarers. I was very fortunate to have been teamed up with Jerry Hizon, Herbert Hernandez, and Allan Montayre, who are some of the best people working in advertising. Not only did we win the pitch, but the winning idea of creating a myth about the sea went straight to production. This film was directed and illustrated by Avid Liongoren.


We also produced an actual storybook, which was placed in seafarer recruitment offices.
